Congratulations to Butterfly Room at City Gates Day Nursery for winning the best Christmas decorations of 2011. Room Leader Belinda has won £50 to spend on Butterfly room which will go towards equipment needed. Well done to all the other rooms in the nursery you were all pretty close 
Christmas Break
Just a reminder that the nursery will be closing on Friday 23rd December at 4:30PM for the Christmas holiday’s. The new term begins Wednesday 4th January 2012. Merry Christmas from all the staff at City Gates Day Nursery and a Happy New Year.

Invoices Via Email
As of January 2012 all invoices well be automatically sent to parents and guardians through email unless otherwise requested. If you’d like to change your email address please speak to someone at reception or alternatively please email annettebaidoo@citygates.org.uk stating your child’s name with the subject heading containing change e-mail address.

Parent Forum
If you missed this terms parent forum on nutrition please download two fantastic guides from The Dairy Council website. The Bump to Baby guide provides dietary advice for women during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It also includes information on healthy eating and which foods to avoid.

Pre-School Graduation
To celebrate our pre-schoolers moving on to reception we will be holding a graduation ceremony in August 2012 (Date and Time TBA)
Family Outing
The next family outing will be to Paradise Wildlife Park in August 2012 (Price, Date and Time TBA)
French with Caroline
Time to build campaign
Now available FREE French lessons for Pre-Schoolers every Thursday between 2pm-3pm. The last lesson for 2011 will be Thursday 15th December. French with Caroline for 2012 TBA
Although this is a FREE class donations would be appreciated. All proceeds go towards City Gates Time To Build Campaign.
Open Day
Our next open day will be in April 2012 (Date and Time TBA) there’s no need to book an appointment. If you’re interested in your child attending the nursery come along to the viewing and speak to our dedicated staff.
If you’re a parent with your child currently attending the nursery bring a friend and their child along to the next open day and if they register you are in with a chance to win a £20 Mothercare voucher. When the child starts you will receive a £50 deduction off your next invoice.
